  • Informationen (Wikipedia): Die M81-Gruppe ist eine Galaxiengruppe, die sich in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zur so genannten Lokalen Gruppe befindet. Zur lokalen Gruppe gehört neben der Milchstraße auch die Andromedagalaxie. Die bekanntesten Mitglieder der M81-Gruppe sind die beiden Galaxien Messier 81 (M81), von welcher sich der Name ableitet, und Messier 82 (M82). Insgesamt gehören an die 60 Galaxien zu dieser Gruppe, wobei sich sieben große Galaxien darunter befinden.
